What we collect from artists
Your email address, artist profile details, the songs and links you add, the media you upload, and records of the campaigns and payments you make. Card details are handled by our payment provider and never stored by us.
What we collect from music page visitors
When someone opens one of your SoundSpend music pages we record the visit and which streaming service they tapped, along with coarse technical information such as country, device type and referring platform. We do not ask visitors for their name or email.
Advertising and audiences
Campaign performance data is shared with the advertising platform we buy on so it can deliver and measure your ads. People who watch your videos or visit your music page may be grouped into anonymous audiences used to show later ads to similar people. These audiences are tied to your artist profile and are not sold or shared with other artists.
Cookies
We use the minimum needed to keep you signed in and to attribute a music page click back to the campaign that produced it. We do not run third-party advertising cookies on our own marketing site.
How long we keep things
Campaign and payment records are kept for as long as we are legally required to keep financial records. Uploaded media and profile data are kept until you delete them or close your account.
Your choices
You can edit or delete your profile, songs and uploads from inside the product at any time. To delete your whole account and associated data, contact us and we will action it.
